The Hand Impact
Hi! Dne’ here;)A few days ago, I encountered some rusty frozen Phillip screws that hold my plastic bumper to my Geo Tracker. This is one of those times when specialty tools, rarely used, lying in the tool box comes in handy and saves the day! I bought this hand impact when I had my first motorcycle, a TT250 Suzuki, about 1972 I guess. It had some screws that required a tool like this. I bought it from Hi-LO auto parts. You know, HI-LO? I still call it that to this day! Now I sing the beginning of the O’Reilly auto parts jingle! However, one good whack with a hammer, and usually the screw comes loose!;) This and I think all of them come in a 3/8″ drive, so one can just about put anything on the end of it to crack loose a nut, bolt or screw! It works on left hand and right hand threads. So, that’s it, just wanted to share this unique tool with my friends~;)
